Recommended comments:Zenith is a brand that continues to produce high-quality timepieces in Switzerland, the home of watches. Although this pocket watch is no longer in production, it clearly reflects the tireless pursuit of precision watchmaking and is of high quality. The watch is in such good condition that it appears to have been deadstock, with little damage, likely due to it having been barely used by the previous owner.

Zenith, a long-established brand founded in 1865

The Zenith story begins in the mid-19th century, in the peaceful foothills of Le Locle, Switzerland.

Born in the Jura region, young Georges Favre entered the intricate world of pivot makers and escapement assemblers at the age of just nine. In 1863, at the age of 20, he married Louise-Philippine Jacot-Descombes, also from a family of watchmakers.

With the support of Louise's dowry, the two, sharing their passion, established what would later become the Manufacture on Rue de Bilhode in 1865. (*Excerpt from the official website)

The back cover is a double hunter case, and by pressing the button you can intuitively enjoy the dynamic movement and low beat of the beautiful gold-colored Unitas 6498 movement.

The exterior parts are also in very good condition, and it seems as if it had been carefully stored like dead stock.

Zenith is famous for its chronograph caliber El Primero, which could only have been born from the company's strong manufacturing spirit.

It is possible to engrave a wide range of parts on both the inside and outside of the case, making it possible to create a watch that is one of a kind in the world.
