About KENTEX

Kentex is a Japanese brand that offers a wide range of watches, from full-scale diver's models to models made in full cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces.

Full-scale launch of original brand "Kentex"

In 1989, Kenji Hashimoto founded a watchmaker that supplied OEM watches to major Japanese watch manufacturers and European brands. This was the beginning of the Kentex brand.

Kentex Japan was officially established in 1994, and the original brand KENTEX was launched in earnest in 1998. They also exhibited at Baselworld, the world's largest watch fair.

The first Japanese brand to release a tourbillon

This will be the first time that a Japanese brand has released a tourbillon, a mechanical watch known for its complex mechanism.

Launch of the "JSDF" series with the cooperation of the Ministry of Defense

In 2001, the "JSDF" series, planned and produced with the full cooperation of the Ministry of Defense's Self-Defense Forces, was launched and became extremely popular.
