OMEGA has its origins in a workshop founded by watchmaker Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848. While OMEGA is a Swiss brand that produces a wide range of watches, including military watches and diver's watches, it is also a globally trusted brand, having served as the timekeeper for the Olympic Games.
The movement is the Cal. 960, developed by Auguste Raymond and based on the Unitas 6497, now produced by ETA. Its rose gold color contrasts with the exterior and features the brand name engraved on it. It's a hand-wound movement with a shock-resistant mechanism, making it safe for those unsure about antique or vintage watches.
