Specifications
Oris has announced the Datwat Limited Edition, created in collaboration with the Federal Secretariat for the Wadden Sea, which works to protect the Wadden Sea, the world's largest tidal flats and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
ORIS is a prestigious Swiss brand with a 110-year history that continues to produce only mechanical watches.
The Aquis Date , which is the basis for this Dat-Watt Limited Edition, has a high level of design that can be used for everyday wear in town, and specifications that make it fully prepared for even the most demanding diving around the world.
This model is based on the Oris Aquis diver's watch and is named after the local name for the Wadden Sea, Datwat. It will be released in a limited edition of 2,009 pieces, commemorating the year the Wadden Sea was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are no borders in nature
Protecting the global environment leads to a better life for us.
Over the past few decades, Oris has been involved in non-profit conservation efforts around the world, making a real difference to the marine environment, from restoring coral reefs to protecting whales and dolphins.
The latest project is a collaboration with the Federal Secretariat for the Wadden Sea (CWSS), a joint Danish, German and Dutch effort to protect the Wadden Sea.
The Wadden Sea is the world's largest tidal flat and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. It plays an important role in conserving biodiversity on Earth.

We have never felt more responsible for the global environment than we do now, and we need to rethink our lifestyles for the sake of future generations.
Oris is very keen to join the effort: because the CWSS is a three-nation collaboration and the Wadden Sea is a UNESCO-listed region, there are certain conditions that must be met before a partner can join the effort, such as meeting environmental standards.
We are proud to have passed the audit. Nature knows no borders, and neither do Oris's positive change projects.
A beautiful diver's watch with a blue to gray gradient reminiscent of the Wadden Sea.
30 ATM water resistance is also written as 300m water resistance. It is the performance of a full-fledged diver's watch that can withstand skin diving and scuba diving. It cannot be used for saturation diving.
*Please perform regular maintenance to maintain waterproof performance.
The DatWatt Limited Edition is an especially special watch.
The dial displays the lunar cycle and the tides in the Northern Hemisphere thanks to the Pointer Moon function , developed by Oris for professional divers.
This function positions the central white pointer hand to the correct day in the 29.5-day lunar cycle and displays the corresponding tide level via a white outline on the dial, while the same hand also displays the phases of the moon.
A date calendar displays the date at the 6 o'clock position.
It also comes with a unidirectional rotating bezel that can be used to measure elapsed time. Running out of oxygen in a tank can be life-threatening during diving. The unidirectional rotating bezel prevents accidental operation underwater, further enhancing safety.
The back of the unit is engraved with an illustration of the Wadden Sea, and there is also a serial number indicating the limited edition.
*You cannot choose the serial number.
The hands and indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova , which glows in the dark and absorbs light. *The image is for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual color.
