Reports on marine plastic are sobering: for example, some scientists estimate that the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP), which lies between Hawaii and California, is 4.5 times the size of Germany.

Experts say that millions of tons of fishing nets are discarded into the ocean every year, and that these nets can remain adrift for 400 to 500 years. However, this problem has only recently come to be recognized.

And now, we are thrilled to present the special Aquis Date, Oris x Bracelet, with a beautiful dial crafted from recycled ghost net.

The kaleidoscope-like dial is made by slowly melting scraps of green, blue and white mesh, allowing them to cool and form thin plates that are then cut and polished to a thickness of 0.3mm.

Nothing is added except fishing net scraps, and no two are alike.

The Aquis Date Bracelet Net is available in 43.5mm and 36.5mm case diameters, both of which feature dials made from recycled ghost nets (abandoned fishing nets).

The recycling process creates random patterns, meaning no two dials are the same, making each watch truly unique .

The back of the watch is a see-through case back, allowing you to see the movement of Oris' signature "red rotor."

The green Super-LumiNova finish provides excellent visibility even in the dark.

The indexes and hands are coated with luminous paint, which makes them glow green in the dark. This makes it convenient to check the time not only when diving, but also when returning home in the evening, at the cinema, or in other dark places.

A date calendar displays the date at the 6 o'clock position.

The watch is also equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel, which is used to measure elapsed time. Running out of oxygen in a tank can be life-threatening during diving. The unidirectional rotating bezel prevents accidental operation underwater, further enhancing safety.

30 ATM water resistance is also written as 300m water resistance. It is the performance of a full-fledged diver's watch that can withstand skin diving and scuba diving. It cannot be used for saturation diving.
