The ORIS Divers 65 series, a reproduction of a diver's watch released in 1965, features a new green gradient dial and is a special edition paired with a denim strap created in collaboration with Japanese denim brand Momotaro Jeans.
This reissue, made with the latest technology and featuring the retro look of Oris' first diver, born in 1965, is a watch that garnered attention when it was unveiled at the Swiss trade fair Baselworld.
The Divers Sixty-Five has been reissued using modern technology. Now, a collaboration watch has been released between the Divers Sixty-Five and Momotaro, a Japanese jeans brand with a clear vision of "no compromise on quality."
The Divers Sixty-Five's case size is slightly larger than the 1965 model, but the retro design remains intact down to the smallest details.
Oris's iconic Divers Sixty-Five stainless steel A special model has been released that combines the black and bronze type with a strap made of indigo-dyed denim featuring the two lines that are the symbol of Momotaro.
The crystal is a curved, domed sapphire crystal reminiscent of the Plexiglas of the past.
The inside is coated with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and improve visibility.
The indexes and hands are painted with Super-LumiNova luminescent paint in a vintage color (light old radium).
Visibility has been improved even in the dark.
It has a unidirectional rotating bezel that allows you to measure elapsed time.
The stainless steel case back features the historic Oris logo and a special MOMOTARO engraving, just like the original 1965 model.
It is equipped with the Oris 733 movement, which has a power reserve of approximately 38 hours .
Based on the Swiss-made automatic movement SW200-1, it is finished and processed uniquely by the Oris brand, further improving precision and functionality.

Momotaro jeans are made from durable, high-quality denim spun on vintage shuttle looms with hand-sewn details.
"Momotaro" was born in 2006 by Manabe Toshio, who wanted a strong name that would suit his company's vision of making the best indigo denim in Japan and eventually becoming the world's number one denim manufacturer.
Momotaro has a clear vision: "No compromise on quality."
The denim is made from the finest long-staple cotton and rope-dyed to the deepest indigo for the best color fading. It's crafted on a vintage shuttle loom to achieve a handwoven look, and the details are hand-sewn. Manabe wanted to set a new international standard for denim.
Nearly 30 years have passed since then, and the company now has 140 employees working in offices, stores, and factories in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Okayama. Okayama once experienced a recession, but with the growth of fellow denim makers around Manabe, the city is now developing as a denim town.
