ORIS is a Swiss brand with over 100 years of history.
The Big Crown is a classic series that Oris, which continues to focus on mechanical watches, confidently recommends, and is a series recommended for mechanical watch enthusiasts.
Black dial with highly visible Arabic numeral indexes.
The crystal is made of double-sided spherical sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides for high visibility.
It has a date calendar (date display) at the 3 o'clock position, making it recommended for everyday use and business use.
The hands and indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova BG C3 luminous coating , ensuring excellent visibility, which is essential for a pilot's watch.
The dial is divided into three zones, the central zone being a traditional watch dial showing the time.
Surrounding it is a barometer that shows atmospheric pressure, with a red indicator indicating the air pressure.
The outer ring is the altimeter , with a yellow indicator showing altitudes up to 4500 meters.
As its name suggests, the Big Crown features a large crown designed to be easily operated even while wearing gloves. Its ease of adjustment and winding made it extremely popular among U.S. Air Force pilots during World War II.
In addition to the crown at 2 o'clock for adjusting the time and calendar, there is a crown at 4 o'clock for activating, setting, and adjusting the altimeter.
