The Big Crown is a classic series that Oris, which continues to focus on mechanical watches, confidently recommends, and is a series recommended for mechanical watch enthusiasts.
The black dial features highly visible Arabic numerals and a coin-edge bezel that gives it a retro feel.
The rotating bezel allows for secondary time adjustment . Turning the bezel clockwise advances the local time by one hour. Turning it counterclockwise moves it back by one hour. The date can also be adjusted backwards, even at night.
At 3 o'clock is a date calendar and a second time display , and at 9 o'clock is a small second hand independent of the central hour and minute hands .
