Caliber 403
Oris Calibre 403 sets a new standard in mechanical watchmaking. Developed by our expert in-house engineers, the movement offers a 5-day power reserve, high levels of magnetic resistance and will function without maintenance for 10 years .
The twin barrels house a long mainspring that can store enough power for 2.5 days, and the watch is highly accurate, exceeding chronometer standards with an accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day.
"A new standard"
Oris is confident in the latest technology and functionality that has gone into Calibre 403. All watches equipped with this movement are covered by a 10-year warranty when registered with MyOris, and the recommended service interval for Calibre 403 is 10 years.
This means that unless there is damage due to an accident or a waterproofing inspection, there will be no need for an overhaul or other maintenance until 2031. This is a new standard.
- The use of more than 30 non-ferrous parts makes it anti-magnetic, able to withstand high levels of magnetism.

As its name suggests, the Big Crown features a large crown designed to be easily operated even while wearing gloves. Its ease of adjustment and winding made it extremely popular among U.S. Air Force pilots during World War II.
