Oris has partnered with Coulson Aviation, the world leader in aerial firefighting.

The theme of this partnership is " Innovative Technology and Environmental Conservation ."

Coulson Aviation is an independent, family-owned, Canadian-based organization that deploys aircraft and pilots to wildfires and wildland fires around the world.

They operate primarily in the United States during the Northern Hemisphere summer and in Australia and South Africa during the Southern Hemisphere summer, with the goal of supporting ground firefighting efforts to put out fires and protect lives and the environment.

Coulson Aviation was founded in 1960 by Cliff Coulson as a lumber company.

Over the past 40 years, Cliff's son, Wayne, has expanded the company's operations into aerial firefighting, leveraging the company's accumulated expertise to develop innovative technologies for time-sensitive emergency response.

Now Wayne, along with his two sons, Brighton and Foster, are exploring "a better, more effective way" just like Oris.

Oris and Coulson Aviation have teamed up to design the Coulson Limited Edition, which features a vibrant orange dial evocative of fire and a carbon fibre case .

Patented 3D printed carbon fiber case used in a wristwatch for the first time

It uses an ultra-lightweight and ultra-hard material woven from carbon fiber developed by the prestigious Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and a high-quality polymer developed simultaneously with PEKK for the aerospace industry.

The case is made of lightweight high-tech materials, with a grey PVD-coated titanium bezel, screw-down crown and caseback, and the strap is black textile.

The total weight, including the movement, is just 65 grams. Inside is Oris' revolutionary antimagnetic, automatic Calibre 400 with a five-day power reserve, and only 1,000 pieces are available.

Oris Calibre 400 sets a new standard in mechanical watchmaking. Developed by our expert in-house engineers, the movement offers a 5-day power reserve, high levels of magnetic resistance and will function without maintenance for 10 years .

Oris is confident in the latest technology and functionality that has gone into Calibre 400. All watches equipped with this movement are covered by a 10-year warranty when registered with MyOris, and the recommended service interval for Calibre 400 is 10 years.

This means that unless there is damage due to an accident or a waterproofing test, there is no need for maintenance such as an overhaul until 2031. This is a new standard.

The dial color has a gradient that can be interpreted as red or orange, reminiscent of a burning flame. As it is a limited edition, it makes a perfect gift for a special occasion.
