Specifications

The tuxedo dial was a typical model of dress watches, which are watches designed to be worn primarily at formal occasions such as weddings, funerals, and business.

A simple and elegant watch designed to perfectly complement formal attire, a tuxedo dial is essentially a dial design featuring concentric circles in alternating shades of black and white.
In the field of dress watches, it is said to be "tres chic" (French for very stylish), as its name suggests, and it remains a classic and staple.

This dial is also known as a bull's eye dial. The concentric circle pattern on the dial is reminiscent of a target, so the name means "target" in English. It is also sometimes called an "Art Deco dial."
It has a military yet dressy feel, a modern yet classical impression, and is easy to match with any outfit, yet has an antique feel. The combination of these opposing elements creates a charm that never fades, even in the modern era.
The deep dark grey dial at the centre of the dial has vertical lines that, depending on the light, resemble marble, creating a sense of luxury. The rail track that displays the seconds and the KEYFORD logo are also in the same pale orange, giving the overall design a refined look.
The silver pencil hands, which match the case color, are luminous in the same color as the numbers.
A watch worn by soldiers on the battlefield.
Pocket watches were originally used, but towards the end of the 19th century, a German soldier began wearing one on his wrist, making it more convenient, and pocket watches became popular on the battlefield.
Pocket watches had the disadvantage of requiring one hand to be occupied when wearing them, so the idea of wearing it on the wrist was simple yet revolutionary.
There are records that show that around 1880, German Emperor Wilhelm I had wristwatches manufactured for the German Navy.
There are now many different designs of wristwatches, but their roots lie in military watches (watches worn by soldiers).
Today, it is loved by military fans around the world not only for its history, but also for its rugged, minimalist, masculine design and easy-to-use functionality.
