Recommended Comments: This pocket watch is already out of production and is no longer available new, making it a very rare watch. Used by employees during the Japan National Railways era, the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. It features Seiko's Diaflex, a 15-jewel mainspring known for its unbreakable spring, making it a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seikos are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, and this watch has been overhauled and is still in good condition. It features a two-tone small seconds hand that changes color every 10 seconds, a feature used by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT). It is a rare watch with an oval case and ring, rather than the round, circular ring of the current model, and a rare stamp dated 1963. The dial is a later white dial.

notice:It has been overhauled and adjusted to within 30 seconds per day. It is a well-maintained watch that you can use for a long time.

During the Showa era of the Japanese National Railways, the 19SEIKO was a favorite among railway workers for its high precision.

During his time at Seikosha, founder Kintaro Hattori developed the 19th Seiko, a watch with high precision that could rival the foreign-made watches that were in use at the time.

This watch continued to evolve through small, repeated minor changes until 1971.

Beautiful movement with Cotes de Genève finish.

Seiko pocket watches were popular as Japan's leading "working watches," and have a history of being used not only on railways but also in the cockpits of Zero fighters during wartime.

Two-tone small seconds hand that changes color every 10 seconds.
