Used by employees during the Japan National Railways era, the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. With 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function, it is a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still in good condition. The back is engraved with "Showa 35 6282 JNR." This is one of the few 15-jewel oval-ring models produced over a three-year period, from 1960 until the exterior case was changed in 1963. This is a rare early model. There is little damage to the exterior, making it a watch that will be fun to watch over and over again.
