Recommended Comments This pocket watch is no longer in production and is extremely rare, as it is no longer available new. Used by employees during the Japan National Railways era, the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. With 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function, it is a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still in good condition. This model is stamped with the name of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, the predecessor of NTT, and is thought to have been a watch used to record telephone call times. As such, the small seconds hand is distinctive in that it alternates between white and yellow every 10 seconds.
