The sound. The sound of the clock I heard on Shobido's website was so good. It's a nostalgic sound.
Also, the date "Showa 39" on the case back. I was born in 1963, so I felt a strong sense of affinity with this watch, knowing that it was made in the same era.
I have the current quartz model, but I've always wanted a mechanical one.
Blued steel hands, small seconds.
Since I want to use it on a daily basis, I'm glad that it's adjusted to 30 seconds per day.
