I have a 19 Seiko watch from 1965, but I wanted one from the year I was born (1962). I wanted to buy it from a store I could trust.
Compared to my beloved 1965 model, I like the shape of the crown and the silver small second hand, which gives it an antique feel. On the other hand, the daily rate is a little high...
They were quick and polite, and there was no stress even though I was using them from far away (Tokyo).

Used by employees during the Japan National Railways era, the 19 Seiko is an essential part of Japan's railway history, boasting world-class accuracy. With 15 jewels and a stop-seconds function, it is a high-spec watch. Good-condition 19 Seiko watches are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and this watch has been overhauled and is still in good condition. The back is engraved with "Showa 37 727 JNR." This is one of the few 15-jewel oval watches produced over a three-year period, from 1960 until the exterior case was changed in 1963. The exterior has little deterioration, making this a very good condition watch. |
