This latest model, the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Calibre 114, expresses Oris' deep connection with aviation, having produced the first pilot's watch in the 1910s.

The Calibre 114's greatest features are its patented power reserve indicator, which keeps it running for an astonishing 10 days, and its 24-hour second time zone, which can be set precisely in 30-minute increments.

Although it is hand-wound, it is also attractive for its high precision.

The crystal is a double-sided domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inside.

The case size is a slightly larger 44mm in diameter, giving it high visibility and presence on the wrist.

At 3 o'clock is a patented non-linear power reserve indicator that shows the remaining amount of winding in the mainspring.

The small second and date display are neatly placed at 9 o'clock.
