The long-awaited solar chronograph model is now available in the unique VOSTOK EUROPE/EXPEDITION series, designed to provide essential functionality at an affordable price, even in extreme environments!
This solar-powered chronograph model harnesses sunlight to create a maintenance-free, long-life battery. The semi-transparent dial captures sunlight directly into the movement's solar cells, allowing for everyday use without the need for special charging.
A fully charged watch will run for up to 5 months in the dark.
The "Expedition South Pole" collection features a 43mm stainless steel case (black PVD finish) designed for a variety of outdoor activities, both indoors and outdoors. The approximately 43mm case fits comfortably on Japanese wrists and can withstand pressures of up to 20 bar.
The model comes with a special "Polar Irradiance" scale that shows the number of hours of sunlight per day across the seasons in Antarctica. This feature increases awareness of environmental conditions in regions where sunlight hours vary dramatically throughout the year.

The dial and hands are made of Super-LumiNova for excellent visibility in low light, and the case is equipped with a screw-down case back and crown for enhanced durability and water resistance.

It is waterproof to 200M (20 atmospheres) , so you can wear it while swimming and even in sudden rain.
20 ATM water resistance is also written as 200M water resistance.
Its performance is suitable for water sports such as swimming, surfing, and jet skiing. You can swim in a pool, but you cannot dive deep.

The back of the watch is engraved with a map of Antarctica, in keeping with the model name.
