The new work is inspired by the glass dome atop the German parliament building, which houses a disorienting spiral ramp inside the dome.
The name of the series, KingDome, comes from the fact that the word "Reichstag" (German for parliament building), which served as inspiration for the design, has two meanings: KINGDOM (empire) and DOME (dome).
