A reinterpretation of the original 1978 model—refined, more precise, and now evolved into the TISSOT PRX Powermatic 80 , a 35 mm unisex model.
TISSOT PRX
The PRX is a modern reinterpretation of one of Tissot's historically influential designs, a watch that helped shape what we now call the “sporty-elegant” style. With meticulous finishing throughout, it is a standout piece in both design and craftsmanship.
The name “PRX” stands for Precise and Robust , with the “X” symbolizing its 10-bar water resistance .
Every detail reflects the refined finishing techniques and craftsmanship Tissot has cultivated throughout its long history.
A design born in the 1970s
Since its founding, Tissot has continued watchmaking as “Innovators by tradition” —deeply rooted in tradition while constantly redefining it. The brand has always understood how to interpret the design language of each era.
In the late 1970s, Tissot introduced a series of integrated-bracelet timepieces equipped with automatic movements.
The slimness achieved at that time paved the way for the sleek, thin case seen on today's PRX.
Round bezel
The curved, polished, ultra-thin bezel enhances the PRX's distinctive design while creating a beautiful circular shape within the overall oval-inspired silhouette.
Inside that circle lies the embossed checkered dial pattern, designed to harmonize with the brushed and polished finishes of the case and bracelet.
A case that flows seamlessly into the bracelet
To achieve a fully integrated look, the PRX case tapers smoothly into the bracelet.
The striking lug-less construction allows the straight case edges to transition seamlessly into the first bracelet link. Its slim profile is one of the PRX's defining characteristics.
When worn, the close distance between the wrist and the sapphire crystal further enhances this sleek impression.
Automatic movement powered by the wearer
Powered by the natural motion of the wrist, the Powermatic 80 offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve , allowing it to keep accurate time even after being left unworn for up to three days.
Compared with many other movements that offer around one and a half days of power reserve, this is a highly innovative and high-performance mechanism.
The case back features a see-through design, allowing the wearer to enjoy the movement of the Powermatic 80.
Tissot has also developed advanced titanium-based alloys to enhance timekeeping precision. The Nivachron balance spring is regarded as more resistant and less sensitive to magnetism than standard balance springs.
A unisex size that suits everyone
With a 35 mm case diameter, this model is perfectly sized for both men and women.
Its retro-inspired design makes it suitable for couples, families, or anyone who wants to share a versatile timepiece. It's a watch that adapts effortlessly to many different situations.
The stainless steel bracelet features a dual-deployant clasp for easy one-push opening and closing.
The indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® , absorbing light in bright environments and glowing in the dark. The green radiance provides excellent legibility even in low-light conditions.
Designed with not only style but also ergonomics in mind, the bracelet offers smooth mobility and flexibility, while the thin case sits comfortably on the wrist.
Owners will enjoy an exceptional fit and wearing experience.
The slim, integrated case-and-bracelet design offers a vintage appeal while staying fresh and stylish—
a timepiece that truly transcends eras.

TISSOT PRX
The PRX is a reinterpretation of a historic Tissot model that has had a major influence on the design of today's sporty-elegant watches. This watch, meticulously crafted, is a standout piece in both design and finish.
The name PRX means " Precise and Robust " and the "X" represents 10-atmosphere water resistance .
The delicate finishing techniques applied throughout the watch clearly demonstrate the craftsmanship that Tissot has cultivated over its long history.

A design born in the 1970s
Since its founding, Tissot has continued to make watches as "Innovators by tradition - innovators rooted in tradition and breaking with tradition" throughout its long history.
Always knowing how to interpret the design of the times, in the late 1970s he created a series of timepieces with integrated bracelets and equipped with the then-new automatic movements.
The thinness developed at that time led to the slim case that is the PRX of today.

Round bezel
The curved, mirror-finished thin bezel, along with the case and bracelet, highlights the design of the PRX, creating a beautiful circle at the heart of the oval watch.
Within this beautiful circle is an embossed checkered dial pattern that echoes the surface finish of the case and bracelet.

To the bracelet
Smoothly continuous case
The PRX case smoothly changes in width to the bracelet, creating a more integrated look between the case and bracelet.
The striking, one-piece design, with no lugs, allows the straight case edge to seamlessly transition into the first link of the bracelet.
The close proximity of the crystal to the hand when worn enhances this effect.

An automatic watch is powered by the wearer.
The mechanism is powered by wrist movement. The Powermatic 80 offers an 80-hour power reserve, enough to keep the time accurate even if the watch is not worn for three days.
This is an innovative and high-performance movement, even compared to competitors' products, which generally offer a power reserve of one and a half days.

The back of the watch is a see-through case back, allowing you to enjoy the Powermatic 80 movement.
With precision in mind, Tissot has developed cutting-edge titanium-based alloys, and Nivachron balance springs are considered more resistant and sensitive to magnetic fields than standard balance springs.

A unisex model that is great for both men and women

The 35mm case diameter is the perfect size for both men and women.
A watch that can be shared between lovers or spouses, or even between parents and children, the retro design makes it a perfect choice. It's truly a watch that can be used in a variety of situations.

The stainless steel belt is a folding type that can be opened and closed with one push.
The green Super-LumiNova finish provides excellent visibility even in the dark.

The indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® , which stores light in bright conditions and emits it in the dark, allowing you to check the time even in dim light at night.

In addition to its design, the watch also offers practicality with a smooth fit thanks to the bracelet, which was developed based on ergonomics for mobility and flexibility, and a slim case that conforms to the wrist, allowing owners to experience an outstanding wearing experience.
The distinctive, slim design, with the case and bracelet integrated, gives it a vintage feel, yet is innovative and stylish, making it a timeless timepiece.
