This specially painted F-2 aircraft of the 8th Squadron was introduced in 2020 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the squadron's formation. The specially painted F-2 features a black paint job based on the unit's black panther insignia, leaving a strong impression with its bold finish.

The tail features a powerful illustration of a panther and claw marks. The nose landing gear cover has the number "8" on it, representing the 8th Squadron.

The inner ring of the dial at 2 o'clock and on the crown feature the aircraft type number "F-2," while the hour and minute hands are designed to resemble the cockpit of an F-2. The second hand also features an F-2 aircraft.

I saw a video in an email newsletter of a foreigner deciding which one to buy by flipping a coin, and decided to buy it.

I bought both because they are both good. I didn't realize the Self-Defense Forces had watches until I saw that video. I wear them alternately.

Nothing in particular, as the service is excellent.
