This is an original Seibido pocket watch assembled using vintage parts. It features a silver case and a gold movement, a combination not often seen in existing brands. The combination of black indexes and a gold skeleton movement creates a beautiful finish that exudes luxury.
This watch uses vintage parts, including the movement, so it has some minor scratches, but it has been finished into a pocket watch that is still in good condition and can be used for a long time. The movement has been overhauled and properly oiled, and it is a Unitas movement, which is also used in current pocket watches, so you can use it without any special care. There are many skeleton movements, but a skeleton that shows the entire structure is very rare.
I purchased a Shobido original pocket watch, and what surprised me was that it was a one-of-a-kind skeleton watch.
I was thinking of buying a pocket watch with a double-sided skeleton, but most of the gears and some of the plates on regular manufacturer's products are made of metal, so there are parts of the back that cannot be seen.
On the other hand, the original skeleton pocket watch I purchased this time uses a plate with a hollowed-out gear, allowing me to see the details of the parts on the back.
