When it comes to manual-winding movements for Swiss pocket watches, the classic caliber, Unitas, developed by Auguste Raymond, comes to mind. Its fundamental structure dates back to the 1930s, and it is a long-selling movement that has been in production with almost no changes to its specifications since its introduction in 1968.
Because it is designed for pocket watches, even the base plate itself is large in size, and it is well known that it was used by Panerai in the past.
By the way, if the model number has a "-1" at the end, it has a low beat of 18,000 vph, the same as antique watches, while if it has a "-2" it has a 21,600 vph. The "-2" has a longer power reserve and is a custom model that was created later.
Although it is often used in wristwatches, the Swiss movement model for the Seibido 50th anniversary model deliberately uses the "-1".
