Specifications

When it comes to manual-winding movements for Swiss pocket watches, the classic caliber, Unitas, developed by Auguste Raymond, comes to mind. Its fundamental structure dates back to the 1930s, and it is a long-selling movement that has been in production with almost no changes to its specifications since its introduction in 1968.

Because it is designed for pocket watches, even the base plate itself is large in size, and it is well known that it was used by Panerai in the past.
By the way, if the model number has a "-1" at the end, it has a low beat of 18,000 vibrations per hour, the same as an antique watch, while if it has a "-2" it has a different specification of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The "-2" has a longer power reserve and is a custom model that was created later.
Although it is often used in wristwatches, the Swiss movement model for the Seibido 50th anniversary model deliberately uses the "-1".

The reason is that we want you to enjoy the low beat sound that is characteristic of time-honored watches through your ears. Regardless of the length of the power reserve, we recommend winding the mainspring of a manual winding watch once a day, as close to the same time as possible. We have chosen watches that do not focus on a long power reserve, but rather allow you to enjoy using a basic, uncustomized movement.

Compared to the reasonably priced Asian movement types, which we want even beginners to watches to enjoy, our Swiss movement models are made with the hope that they will be loved for a long time .

The dial is not specially decorated, but the movement is engraved with the store's logo as proof that it was assembled at Seibido Watch Shop, giving it a special finish that cannot be found anywhere else.

Of course, please feel free to leave future maintenance such as overhauls to us.
