Actually, this is only the second time I have held a pocket watch. My first encounter with one was when my grandfather showed it to me when I was in elementary school. I believe my father now has it as a keepsake.

It is mechanical and has a full hunter case with double doors.

If I was going to buy a pocket watch, I wanted one that would allow me to enjoy looking at the internal mechanism and that had a cover to provide some protection for the watch face.
