The name "Kaenos" comes from the Greek word "kainos," meaning "new" or "fresh," and refers to the Cenozoic era, a period of regeneration in the Earth's history.

The name represents a new beginning for MeisterSinger and is fitting for a model that symbolizes further exciting evolution.

This new product family is divided into two lines: the "Kaenos" with a large date display at 6 o'clock, and the "Kaenos Open Date" with an open date disc below 12 o'clock, allowing the date to be read.
