An open-face pocket watch with striking gold accents
This is an original Seibido pocket watch assembled using antique parts. It features a gold-colored case made from recycled antique parts and a brand new Swiss-made hand-wound movement. The case back is a see-through caseback, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful and dynamic movement of the balance wheel with its Côtes de Genève pattern.
The small seconds hand displays the seconds independently in the sixth direction. This display method is also used in older watches, giving it a more classical impression. The crown is located at the 12 o'clock position, and winding the mainspring every day keeps the watch running smoothly.
I purchased a Shobido original pocket watch, and what surprised me was that it was a one-of-a-kind skeleton watch.
I was thinking of buying a pocket watch with a double-sided skeleton, but most of the gears and some of the plates on regular manufacturer's products are made of metal, so there are parts of the back that cannot be seen.
On the other hand, the original skeleton pocket watch I purchased this time uses a plate with a hollowed-out gear, allowing me to see the details of the parts on the back.
