This Laco original pilot's watch, Leipzig Erbstuck 861936, exudes a dignified, antiqued look, reminiscent of a watch that survived wartime.

Laco 01 Series Hand-Wound Leipzig Erbstuck 861936

Laco's original Pilot series is based on the motif of instruments designed to read various numbers in an instant.

In Europe, there is a culture of repairing high-quality items, passing them down from generation to generation, and cherishing their elegance.

This Leipzig Erbstuck is made by artisans who carefully scratch each piece and give it a tasteful antique finish that will appeal to collectors.

Laco is a brand that was launched under the abbreviated name of the watch manufacturer Lacher & Co., which was founded in Germany in the 1920s.

In the 1930s, the brand's movements, manufactured with solid technical expertise, became popular and gradually spread its name. When World War II broke out in the 1940s, a pilot's watch equipped with a highly accurate movement was officially adopted as a navigation watch for the German Air Force, marking the brand's entry into the world of full-fledged military watches.

The glass is made of domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating .

The design features large minute and second displays and a small hour display, and the clever placement and large indexes ensure good visibility.

The large onion-shaped crown is designed to allow operation without removing thick gloves.

Scratch processing has been applied throughout, from the case, strap, dial, and hands.

Because the processing is done by hand, no two models are exactly alike, even if they have the same product number.

The stainless steel case has been sandblasted (matt) and antiqued to give it a tasteful finish.

The side of the case is engraved with the then-classified symbol "FL23883" indicating a navigational instrument.

The Arabic numeral indexes, ▲ point, and hour and minute hands are treated with Super-LumiNova C3 luminous coating, which stores light in bright places and glows in the dark.

This riveted strap was created in pursuit of practicality and strength during wartime, faithfully following the specifications of the German Wehrmacht regulations.

The belt is a brown, antique-finished calfskin loop belt that won't come undone.

The leather on the outside of the pin buckle is doubled so that the pin is not exposed when the bag is worn.

Equipped with the Laco01 manual winding movement (based on ETA2801.2) .

The movements used in Laco watches have been improved in accuracy and precision at the Laco factory in Germany.

The case back is engraved with the words "Beobachtungsuhr," which means "observation watch."

iF International Forum Design, based in Hannover, Germany, is the world's longest-standing independent design organization, and each year selects outstanding designs and presents them with the iF Design Award.

A stunning look that doesn't look like it's been damaged

LACO, a famous German pilot watch brand, is one of Germany's oldest brands, celebrating its 90th anniversary since its founding.

This watch has been treated to look like a genuine antique, as if it has been used for decades. It is based on the German military navigation watch and is perfect for those looking for an authentic military watch.

This watch is also equipped with an old-fashioned hand-wound movement, making it a retro watch not only in appearance but also in its internal mechanism.

It is recommended as an accent for casual outfits and as a driving companion.
