The SQUAD OCEAN is a professional diver's watch with 100 bar water resistance, jointly developed by Laco and the German military.
Laco is a brand that was launched under the abbreviated name of the German watch manufacturer Lacher & Co., which was founded in the 1920s.
In the 1930s, the brand's movements, manufactured with solid technical expertise, became popular and gradually spread its name.When World War II broke out in the 1940s, a pilot's watch equipped with a highly accurate movement was officially adopted as a navigation watch for the German Air Force, marking the brand's entry into the world of full-fledged military watches.
The Squad Ocean was developed jointly by Laco and the German military.
With an incredible water resistance of 1000m (100 bar), a helium escape valve, and a unidirectional rotating bezel, this is a professional-grade diver's watch designed for saturation divers and professional divers.

There is a helium escape valve on the case side at 4 o'clock. When saturation diving, the body must be acclimatized in a decompression chamber using high-pressure gas (oxygen and helium). During this process, any helium gas that may enter the watch is automatically released, preventing damage to the watch case due to a sudden pressure difference between the inside and outside of the case. |
