Perseo Grande Stettebello / Grande Stettebello 740334.02 / Manual Winding Wristwatch

Settebello is a long-selling Perseo series that has been on the market since the 1960s. It was produced to commemorate the ETR300 and ETR250 trains that were in service for over 30 years, from the 1950s to the 1980s, during the golden age of Italian railways.

The dial is accented with radiating guilloche engraving and gold-colored indexes and hands, and features a traditional small seconds hand at 6 o'clock.

When Perseo released the Settebello, waterproof technology for wristwatches was not yet developed. Therefore, the case was designed to maintain the original design, and was therefore not waterproof. The use of Hesalite (acrylic resin) for the crystal was also a commitment made at the time of its release.

Despite the attention to detail in its appearance, the movement, which is the heart of the watch, is a modern Swiss-made mechanical movement (Unitas Cal. 6376 hand-wound), making it suitable for everyday use.

The case back is engraved with an image of the high-speed train affectionately known as "Sette Bello," which supported the golden age of the Italian State Railways.

The strap is a 20mm Italian leather strap.
