Batiscafos is a collection of diver's watches from VOSTOK EUROPE that was inspired by deep-sea exploration vessels.
The name comes from the Greek word Bathyscaphe, meaning "deep ship," and is based on the Trieste, a deep-sea exploration vessel that reached the Mariana Trench.
The back of the watch is engraved with an illustration of the Trieste, the ship that served as the model. Because of its submarine motif, this model is also highly water resistant to 30 atmospheres.
30 ATM water resistance is also written as 300m water resistance.
This is a full-fledged diver's watch that can withstand skin diving and scuba diving.
Cannot be used for saturation diving.
