Aéro was founded in Neuchâtel, Switzerland in 1942 by Maxime Clevaget, who inherited the techniques and traditions of the Clevaget family, a family of first-class watchmakers. Now, under the leadership of his second son, Georges, and now veteran Denis Borzli, the company operates as one of the few Swiss manufacturers specializing in luxury pocket watches.

Its distinctive features lie in the warmth of handmade products, made possible by the ancient European "hammering techniques" inherited from our predecessors and the excellent "carving techniques" of top-class craftsmen.
