A model inspired by the world's first artificial satellite, Sputnik. STURMANSKIE HERITAGE SPUTNIK

Sputnik 1, the world's first unmanned artificial satellite, was launched by the former Soviet Union in 1957.
In Russian, "Sputnik" means "something attached to it," which has come to mean "satellite" or "artificial satellite."
The successful launch of Sputnik not only encouraged the Soviet people and marked a major scientific and technological achievement, but also shocked the American people, their Cold War opponent, and influenced the political situation during the Cold War, including the start of the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union.

The dial features Arabic numerals, indexes modeled after launch rockets, and an illustration of the Earth with the then Soviet Union highlighted in red in the center.
The second hand is an exact reproduction of the original Sputnik design from 1959. It rotates once every minute, just like a satellite flying around the Earth.

The crystal is a dome-shaped mineral crystal .
It has a classic and warm design reminiscent of the 1959 model.
The stainless steel case is a gorgeous gold color that blends well with your skin tone.
The case diameter is approximately 40mm and the thickness is 10.7mm, making it a size that fits comfortably on Japanese wrists.

The belt is made of nylon on the outside and leather on the inside.

The back cover contains the history of the Sputnik launch in Russian and English.
This model is limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide , and the serial number is engraved on the case back.
You can also engrave up to five characters on the back of this watch, such as an anniversary date, your name, or initials, to create a one-of-a-kind watch.

It is equipped with a manual winding movement (POLJOT 2609) from the Soviet era.
The POLJOT 2609 movement, which is no longer in production and is not expected to be produced in greater quantities in the future, is remembered as the movement worn by Gagarin, the first human being to fly into space.
