SPYTNIK, the world's first unmanned artificial satellite

Sputnik 1, the world's first unmanned artificial satellite, was launched by the former Soviet Union in 1957.

In Russian, "Sputnik" means "something attached to it," which has come to mean "satellite" or "artificial satellite."

The successful launch of Sputnik not only encouraged the Soviet people and marked a major scientific and technological achievement, but also shocked the American people, their Cold War opponent, and influenced the political situation during the Cold War, including the start of the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union.

A Russian watch that pays homage to Sputnik, the world's first artificial satellite!

A watch series inspired by Sputnik, the world's first artificial satellite developed by the former Soviet Union, which sparked the start of the space race.

The second hand is shaped like a satellite, slowly revolving around the Earth in the center of the dial. The transparent disc seconds hand appears to float, creating a unique look.

Not only does it have a classic look, but it also uses the POLJOT hand-wound Caliber 2609, a Soviet-era movement, perfectly recreating the atmosphere of a watch from that era.
