A 24-hour display model created for Arctic exploration: STURMANSKIE HERITAGE ARCTIC

The Arctic Ocean is a frigid land with constantly changing sea ice, and to survive in these harsh conditions, you need equipment that can constantly adapt to changing conditions.
Sturmanskie has always played a role in the history of Russian exploration: in 1957, the Russian government ordered the development of an "ARCTIC"-resistant watch for the first Soviet expedition to the North Pole.
These watches are recreated and handcrafted just as they were 60 years ago. ARCTIC watches are still worn by Arctic explorers and members of the Russian Geographical Society.

A three-hand model with highly visible Arabic numerals.
The khaki dial is accented with orange hands and indexes.
In the Arctic and Antarctic, natural phenomena occur, such as the midnight sun, when the sun never sets, and the polar night, when the sun never rises.
The ARCTIC watch, created for Arctic exploration, features a 24-hour display to help you keep track of time even in environments where it is difficult to tell day from night.

The hands and indexes are luminous , ensuring visibility even in the dark.

The spherical acrylic glass windshield creates a retro atmosphere.

It has a large crown that is easy to operate even while wearing gloves.
It is made to an exquisite size that does not get in the way.

The belt is a khaki green nylon strap .
The nylon belt is breathable, lightweight, and puts less stress on the arm, making it ideal for a casual weekend.

The back cover is engraved with an illustration of a map of the Arctic Circle.

A mechanical watch equipped with a Russian-made automatic movement whose hour hand rotates once every 24 hours.
The movement is the Vostok 2431 .

A reproduction of the model used in the Soviet Arctic expedition in 1957! The Sturmansky Arctic series was commissioned by the Russian government in 1957 for the first Arctic expedition. Worn by polar explorers and members of the Russian Geographical Society, it is a watch series that can adapt to the demands of the changing polar environment. This model is equipped with a Russian movement in which the hour hand rotates once every 24 hours. Once you get used to the 24-hour hand, it is a movement that is very easy to understand.
