How to adjust the watch strap

Please be sure to read the following points regarding the belt adjustment service.

Please take a look before purchasing from our online watch shop or before taking your watch to a watch shop.



To make it easier to measure your wrist size, first prepare a ribbon, string, or a piece of paper cut to a length of 1-2cm.
The width of the paper should be larger than the length of your wrist. It is difficult to measure the size with a hard object, so please use a soft object.

Next, wrap a ribbon, string, or paper around the area where you want to wear the watch.

When doing so, be sure to wrap it snugly and precisely in the position where you want to wear it.


Make sure to wrap it snugly so that it fits snugly and not too tightly.

Please measure your wrist size with a ruler.

It is convenient to mark the size with a pen so that it is easier to measure with a ruler when you wrap it around your arm.



Click "Add to Cart" on the product (watch) details page to proceed to the shopping cart.

If you continue by following the instructions, you will proceed to "Enter Customer Information Step 2" where you will enter your address, name, etc.

Once you have filled out the form, there will be a "Notes" section at the bottom of Step 2.

Please enter the measured size in the notes section.

Then proceed to the end to complete your order.


Please do not measure for a size that is too loose or too tight. Always measure for a size that fits snugly. Be sure to fill in the "Comments" section in Step 2 of the shopping cart as shown in the example above. If you do not fill in this information, we will not know your size and will not be able to adjust the belt. At our store, we adjust the size you measured to fit snugly, with a little room to spare, before sending it to you. There is no need to worry that the belt will be too tight just because you measured it exactly. Please rest assured. The belt adjustment service is, of course, free of charge.


At our store, we ask customers for the exact size they need, and then adjust the belt to fit with a little extra room.

However, since our staff cannot measure your wrist size directly, the watch may not fit properly when you try it on after it arrives.


In that case, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please have the watch adjusted at your local watch shop.

Please rest assured that we will enclose the removed links when you send them to you.



The size of the watch strap sold by the manufacturer means that you can reduce links when adjusting the strap, but you cannot add links because there are not enough links.


If you add a watch, an additional fee will be charged. This fee will vary depending on the brand and watch, so we will provide you with a quote.



1: For products that you have ordered from our store and have had the strap adjusted (removed links, replaced, etc.), if the product is found to be faulty, scratched, or dirty upon arrival , you can return or exchange it if you return it within 14 days of receiving it.


However, if it has been less than 14 days since the product arrived, or if the case or warranty card has been lost, we cannot accept cancellations or exchanges.

2: If you realize that the product is defective after receiving it and having the belt adjusted at another store, we will not be able to accept any exchanges or cancellations, as this falls under " Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, Article 4, Regarding Defective Products: 4: When the product has been altered (including belt adjustments, etc. at another store) ."


3: We cannot accept any cancellations or exchanges for customer convenience after the belt has been adjusted at our store or at another store.


Please note that since we cannot adjust the belt in person, the size may not fit.



We do not offer any adjustment services for rubber belts or leather belts, which cannot be restored to their original state once cut.


Rubber, nylon, and leather straps can be adjusted by yourself or at a nearby watch shop.


Adjustments can be made at Shobido's physical stores.

If you are able to come directly to our store, please let us know.


We may also refuse orders for special belts, etc. In such cases, we will inform you in the order confirmation email.


Regarding belt adjustment, we guarantee against any damage that may occur during belt adjustment, but we cannot accept cancellations or other reasons such as the size not fitting after delivery.
