Why can we say that genuine Oris watches are recommended?
Oris watches come with a minimum two-year standard warranty, but this warranty only applies to Oris watches purchased through an authorized retailer .
Only authorized dealers (stores) can register for Myoris , which allows you to extend the warranty further (3, 5, or 10 years).
An "official authorized dealer" is a retailer designated (recognized) by Oris, such as Shobido Watch Shop.

- Genuine products have a lower repair price range.
- Genuine products are cheaper, with detailed installation technical fees for repairs starting from 0 yen.
- If you register with My Oris, you can receive maintenance and repairs at the official Oris warranty price even if the authorized shop where you purchased your watch goes bankrupt.
- If you purchase an Oris watch other than an official product, you will not be able to register for My Oris.
- Repairs for non-genuine products are generally accepted, but the price is higher than for genuine products.
- Repairs also incur small technical installation fees.
- If you purchase from a store other than the official store, the store may provide its own warranty, but if the store goes bankrupt, for example, the warranty will be invalid.
