A design born in the 1970s

Powered by the natural motion of the wrist, the Powermatic 80 offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve, allowing it to keep accurate time even after being left unworn for up to three days.
Compared with many other movements that offer around one and a half days of power reserve, this is a highly innovative and high-performance mechanism.

The case back features a see-through design, allowing the wearer to enjoy the movement of the Powermatic 80.

Tissot has also developed advanced titanium-based alloys to enhance timekeeping precision. The Nivachron balance spring is regarded as more resistant and less sensitive to magnetism than standard balance springs.
